Saguru blinked at that trying not to take his eyes off the book because that might suggest that he was actually surprised by the response – even though he was, but that aside, he was attempting to assume casual for a reason. Nonetheless, he managed a small frown and relaxed back some more, turning the page even though he hadn’t fully read it.

“… Yes, that’s true.” He agreed, rubbing at his chin.” … but do you think they would mind me taking you from their abode for some time?” Frankly, he was inclined to imply that he certainly wasn’t being greedy, given they had him all the time, but he still felt he should remain modest about it.

“I doubt it. It’s been a while since I stayed anywhere besides the villa, after all.” Considering the fact that he used to disappear for days on end, either to the little shack in the woods or somewhere else, and now those little trips were few and far between nowadays. “Anyways, they’d know where I am if they need me.”

Although the fact that he was asking in general was oddly…he didn’t see it as shy, but rather reserved. “You know, considering you’ll be stealing a thief from other thieves, you could afford to be selfish and just leave them a note, or something.” He left the words hanging in the air, a roundabout acceptance.
