Nightshade: What is a painful truth your character has had to face?

Rosemary: What is something your character will always remember?
“Well, I can’t really forget a lot, you know, what with my eidetic memory and all, but…I’d have to say that I’ll never forget how happy people look when they watch my heists. Sure, it should be fine enough for me to know that I’m doing a good deed and all, but it’s also pretty gratifying to know that people appreciate my magic, and…well, me.”
He had no damn idea how this had ever happened. Ever since the very first day the duo had moved to Inaba, Shinichi because of Megure’s transferal and Kaito to follow his detective friend’s shenanigans, everybody had assumed that “Detective Prince” Shirogane and “Prince of Fools” Kudo would hit it off, right off the bat. And they had, really.

“I just wanted to check in on you.” Of course, being a wanted criminal in-costume and suddenly now as against the law as a civilian, it was hard for him to see Akio in the daytime, ever since that damned law went through. Well, at least he had the moonlight - the moonlight was always his specialty, anyways.
“How are you holding up?” He kept his voice quiet as he settled himself onto Akio’s bed, removing his monocle in favor of looking at him clearly through both eyes. “I missed you, you know.”
