Odd, not usually the reaction people give. His smile seemed sincere, but maybe…? No, I’m too brilliant for a fool such as this to see through my ruse. I should keep an eye on him though, just in case. “Thanks.” Amodan crafted his own fake smile, something he had been perfecting for years now. He extended his hand gingerly, and shook Kaito’s. “Amodan Trihst, but you may call me Amodan if you wish. And you?” For once, Amodan was actually interested in the answer. He needed to know the name of this peculiar person.
“Katsuki Doito, but just Katsuki is fine, Amodan.” Anybody who could put on a show as well as Amodan did wasn’t one to be trusted, so who could really blame him for using one of his favorite aliases? Granted, it wasn’t on the housing bulletin, and maybe if he were as smart as he acted he’d realize that sooner rather than later, but if anything, it would warn Amodan that he was suspicious enough to warrant that kind of activity from Kaito. “Interesting name,” commented off-handedly. “Where are you from?” Not that it mattered when they were most likely from different universes, but still. Useless information was more useful than none at all.
